Indiana will be bright red for the next 50 years. Pretty much a state of rural, religious white people. My wife is from there. I’d rather live in Alabama than Indiana. At least it closer to the gulf, more diverse and has much better food!

They've had some excellent Democratic governors over the years and a few good Democratic senators. It happens, but you're right... it's rare. They did go for Obama in the 2008 general election.

How can you find anything better than a Hoosier tenderloin sandwich?

Tenderloin sandwiches are the best thing out of the state I know of. Well, besides my lovely wife.


And the whole spice rack up there is the salt and pepper shaker! My father in law thought onions were too spicy!

I was eating them raw at 6.

It took the wife 25 years and even then alcohol was involved! She eats them now but does not crave them like I do.
