I could be wrong, but based on recent other comments, I think that was the intent.

It is a bit of a backhanded compliment, though. He could have taken a shot at Sanders in a little different way.

They "behaved themselves" sounds both like a grandfather talking to an eight-year-old. It was also, perhaps, a dig at Senator Warren, who he might have been implying did *not* behave herself.

I am so glad Warren did not behave herself.

For being qualified. Keep in mind, that all of the Democratic candidates that are left are millionaires. The question could be how can a millionaire serve the working class people? What is the maximum wealth allowed to be a public servant?

Especially if Biden has a very strong showing despite Sanders coming out of it with more delegates than Biden.
