I voted for Pete Buttigieg but my primary is Tuesday so it kind of won't count

but as sad as I am to have my vote not count, I am proud of having cast it. In 1984, Jesse Jackson ran, and did better than Pete did winning 4 states and considerably more delegates. He also stayed in until the end. I knew voting for Pete he might well be our Jesse Jackson and not our Barack Obama. I wish that he had done better with African American and Latinx voters but he didn't. It is over now. I have no idea who will come next. Two governors and two senators is all we have that are LGBTQ. But Obama came from nowhere to be honest. Pete may have been our Moses but we may still be awaiting our Joshua.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

To every Democrat who votes in this primary, your vote will always count. Over the past few months, I have visited Wikipedia and looked at every Democratic Presidential Primary from 1932 on. The count of every vote for every candidate is there. Everyone vote for Pete Buttigieg will be recorded and it will represent all of the people who voted for the first Gay person ever to win a Presidential Primary. On Super Tuesday, we might see women win primaries in Minnesota or Massachusettes, or we might see a Jewish guy win them. It will all be recorded for posterity.

Pete is impressive as heck, and he has a bright future ahead of him. It took Biden three tries to get finally win a state primary. Hillary had to try twice to get the nomination. If Bernie gets the nomination, he will have tried twice. Reagan took two tries to get the nomination. So did Bob Dole.

Mayor Pete has a lot more to offer America. He will be back.
