Vicious, disgusting attacks on any candidate or their family. I am surrounded by Sanders supporters who are exactly the same and I know the vast, vast majority of Sanders supporters agree.

Any attempt to paint Sanders or his supporters as indecent or cruel is an attack on Democrats and progressives and counterproductive to this election.

Some of them seem to be, but it's hard to believe because I don't see how they think their behavior does anything but hurt his chances of winning. But I know it doesn't represent the majority of Bernie supporters, and I am tired of people acting like it does. Every staff or volunteer (not sure which) who has texted me to volunteer has been nothing but polite when I tell them I'm not supporting him this time. I know from my experiences in 2016 (when I did support him) and now that the vast majority of Bernie supporters are not like the few assholes who give him a bad name.

Not all Sanders supporters are Bernie Bros. But a substantial number are. Their behavior reflects on the candidate who does nothing to reel them in and sometimes seems to egg them on by bashing my party and excusing their behavior. His surrogates are Jill Stein supporters who invite the behavior.

Don’t tell me I can’t call them out and that it doesn’t reflect on Bernie.

I’ve seen it and heard it. I saw it at the last convention booing civil rights leaders. I saw it at the rallies chanting lock her up. I saw the booing of great Democratic leaders. The harassment. The doxxing.

I’m not going to say it reflects on other Bernie supporters except when they deny and defend that shit. But it 100% reflects on Bernie.
