Democratic Primaries

Supposedly, according to a panel on CNN, Biden wants them to not drop out until after Super Tuesday.
Thinking they'll draw some votes from Sanders Tuesday.
Hard to see how either Warren or Klobuchar continue after next week.

(40,216 posts)He has done poorly in the last two races. He only has 8% in S.C. I dont see him winning any of Tuesdays races.
It hurts my heart, but this isnt his time.
I think he will leave with grace and endorse Biden. At least I hope that is how it unfolds because that day is coming.

(2,706 posts)Pretty sure Bloomberg eventually would too, if he thinks Sanders will win otherwise.
Unclear if Warren will endorse or be like Obama, stay above it, and be a unifier.

(10,500 posts)In the end, it was kind of impressive that he took 3rd in Nevada, outdistancing Elizabeth Warren.
I wouldn't be surprised if Pete, Amy, Warren and Bloomberg all exit the race after Super Tuesday. Hopefully Tulsi Gabbard will be gone by tomorrow morning.

(27,817 posts)Will I ever see a woman president?
And what happened to all the people who wanted Warren to run in 2016, who would vote for a woman, just not that woman.
I'm frustrated, disappointed, and feeling kicked in the gut.

(65,178 posts)If Biden does win the nomination, it is possible he serves one term and his female VP will run and win the next term.

...it feels conspiratorial. Elizabeth Warren is obviously the most worthwhile candidate we have as Democrats, yet again the female seems to have been sidelined.
It feels weird, I empathize with your frustration, fully.

(68 posts)It is my understanding that Warren is not dropping out until Milwaukee, as promised to premise. There is more than enough momentum behind that campaign for us all to remain enthusiastic for her standing... There is much yet to be shaken out, and so much losers.
