Oh my God! Do you not know how tone-deaf this comes across as? Over half the country can't afford a $500 emergency, and you want to belittle those with the least.

Your Internet snark is someone else's real suffering and you belittle people who may have only $5 or $10 to chip in to actually get engaged in the civic process.

Which has nothing to do with belittling people with little means, nor looking down on them and trying to say they are stupid and getting conned for supporting a candidate.

That's what GOP moms are doing if you check out twitter. In a tizzy because they found out their kids made small donations to Sanders.

Personally, I don't subscribe to a Nanny State, but you do you, I guess...
