...a truly disastrous candidate...he would collapse after just a few weeks of real vetting...even a major recession couldn’t save him...kiss the house goodbye if he’s the nominee...hopefully there’s still time to stop it..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Why pick a candidate that barely fills a classroom or even a decent sized room. Bernie fills stadiums. Get people in droves to vote for him. He’s won two states and tied in one. No other candidate is even close to that.

It's ludicrous to say Bernie isn't "vetted". He's easily the most vetted candidate in the field. The media has been dumping oppo on him for months, and now the other candidates, Bloomberg in particular, are doing the same.

It's also funny that anti-Bernie people are simultaneously (A) saying polls at this stage don't matter and (B) cherry-picking polls to claim that Bernie would do worse against Trump than other candidates.

primary today, I would vote for:

and still he's not "vetted". Do they expect anyone to buy that?

20. Actually, the Democratic party in Vermont clears the way of any Democratic challengers
Thu Feb 27, 2020, 11:58 AM

to Bernie and has since 2006.. He runs on the Democratic party ticket in the primary, then declines the nomination. The Vermont Democratic party won't support any challengers with party resources.

So no, he doesn't 'defeat' Democrats, he owes his primary wins to the Vermont Democratic Party, which generously hands him the primary.

A small very white rural state, where he fled all the noise and danger of the civil rights movement right after college doesn't mind this. The rest of the country, however is more diverse. Vermont, where he has the way paved for him, isn't anything like the rest of the country.

primary today, I would vote for:
