Unfortunately tweets are routinely taken out of context. Not everyone will see the whole thread and its preface; some users will retweet only one of the series. We can say it SHOULD be obvious, but it really won’t be to some.

Same sort of thing happens here. I have long called for a sarcasm font because I can’t read your tone of voice.
