Sanders has failed to release a "standard" measure of his heart health

Even though I support Joe, I'm worried about Bernie's health. This election must be pretty tough on him.

...within a year of the first. Statistically, that means Sanders has a 45% chance of a second heart attack by October.

he really didn't look well at all. It makes me nervous watching him when he gets fired up and turns red in the face. I wonder what his cardiologist thinks of his grueling campaign schedule.

And my EF was the one number my doctor and I cared most about. The other is his BNP level, which measures a hormone in the blood.

He's not going to have an EF of 60% after his heart attack and because of his agebut voters should know just how low it is.

I agree. We need to see that number, and it would be good to know what steps he is taking beyond stents.

After my stent was put in they didn't bother redoing the tests which they did before my angiogram. They get a good idea of how much damage was done because the cath lab equipment shows them what is and isn't moving, but it doesn't numerically measure flow. Of the tests that do, an ultrasound would be cheapest but in my case they waited about a year and did a nuclear stress test which gives more information. As long as the angiogram showed a minimal amount of damage they probably would not bother to redo expensive tests which aren't immediately needed. They are more likely to wait until there is more risk of re-occlusion before spending that money.
