at least when I was a kid, with mandatory pledging of allegiance, history that was all about our greatness from exclusively a white (wealthy) male perspective?

How about some historical context. These right wing Latinos in Florida need to stop listening to their parents and right wing propaganda. Bernie was on the right side in Nicaragua and Trump is a human rights abuser, who should apologize?
