Surprised this name hasn't come up that I've seen - how about VP Joseph Kennedy III?

The guys response to the SOTU in 2018 was excellent, he's fresh-faced/handsome (I mean ... let's face it he's pretty hot ) relatively moderate, and ... is a Kennedy.

Wonder if he'd take the offer?

Warren couldn't pick him but anyone else could ...

I know ... two white guys (potentially), BUT ... he is fluent in Spanish and did a stint in the Peace Corps in Dominican Republic. And I would think the Kennedy name is respected among the AA community.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It’s looking more and more like the nominee will be male, and will 100% be white.

It should be at a minimum a female, and preferably a minority.

6. Here's a creative approach to opposing marijuana reform...
Sun Feb 23, 2020, 10:22 PM
Feb 2020

“If you smelled [marijuana] in a car, you could search a car,” Kennedy said. “When it became decriminalized, you couldn’t do that.”

Klein later argued the change was probably for the good, given the racial disparities that exist in the legal system’s treatment of marijuana, which Kennedy conceded was a good point. Another criminal justice concern Kennedy expressed was the lack of an admissible roadside test to determine whether a driver is operating under the influence of marijuana, which he said would be an increased threat with more widespread usage.

This is a great example of why weed needs to be legalized.

In his interview with Klein, the congressman cited some of the unintended consequences of decriminalizing and legalizing the drug. Recalling his days working as a state prosecutor when Massachusetts voted in 2008 to decriminalize marijuana, Kennedy said the decision affected the ability of police officers to search and seize other illegal items, such as guns, from vehicles.

“If you smelled [marijuana] in a car, you could search a car,” Kennedy said. “When it became decriminalized, you couldn’t do that.”

didn't go over so well. I didn't see it, but some folks here said it was 'high school level' which was surprising to me.
