We may need Bloomberg, nominee or not, to save us this fall

"RNC Brings In Record January Haul, Dwarfing Dems' Total"

Rufus Gifford, President Obama’s fundraising chief, stated:

“While we’ll never match dollar for dollar what Trump and the Republicans raise while we are still in the heat of the primary, it again proves the point that … we need to quickly unify as a party,” said Gifford, who is backing former Vice President Joe Biden.

“But we simply must have an aggressive finance operation that leaves no stone unturned. We’ll have to catch up come the spring, and fast,” he told RCP.

Gifford added, “The one true positive I see is that the Republicans have spent $200 million, we have a decent economy, and Trump still can’t break 50% approval. That is a great sign for Dems.”

Another reason for hope for Democrats? Bloomberg."

1. Maybe he will drop his campaign

and throw his support behind another moderate candidate like Biden. All that money and that staff could make up for a lot of Russian interference.

8. He hasn't ruled it out.

It was a question in the most recent debate, as I recall. He condemned it, then wouldn't rule it out. So, no one really knows but it doesn't sound definitive yet.

He would be dumb to decline it, but of course, it would look a bit hypocritical. He needs to take it anyway. We're going to need everything we can get, especially if Sanders is the nominee.

6. Warren is already reading the writing on the wall as far as her campaign is concerned

She's polled in the single digits in the first three states and is looking at another single digit performance in SC. Warren is currently trailing Sanders in her own home state of Massachusetts and is not expected to win any other Super Tuesday state.

I believe he has said he’ll spend as much as is needed to beat this Orange would be dumb Dictator.

His attitude is dead on. People saying they won’t help or vote if Bernie or Bloomberg or whoever is nominated need to think that through, all our possible candidates or light years preferable to Twitler. If you refuse to vote for the Democratic Nominee you are aiding the Orange Aberration.

No time for tantrums folks our Nation is in jeopardy. There are possible candidates I’m not crazy about but still eminently better options than what’s there now so I will sure as Hell vote for them.
