(34,195 posts)The UMass-Lowell poll shows the Minnesota senator running first in her home state.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar is leading all Democratic presidential candidates in her home state ahead of the March 3 primary, according to a poll conducted by the University of Massachusetts-Lowell Center for Public Opinion.
The poll shows Klobuchar with support from 27 percent of likely Democratic primary voters in Minnesota, ahead of Sen. Bernie Sanders at 21 percent, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 16 percent.
Other major candidates polled at 10 percent support or less, with former mayor Pete Buttigieg at 10 percent, former Vice President Joe Biden and former mayor Mike Bloomberg tied at 9 percent, and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard at 4 percent support.

(2,706 posts)Thats the state she can win. If you think Bernie is going to run away with the nomination, if she drops out then Bernie gets MN.
It makes it harder for the moderates if she drops out.

(2,343 posts)I doubt Sanders will tab her as his VP, though. My guess he wants a POC who identifies as female. Maybe Abrams? Rep. Ocasio-Cortez isn't old enough; otherwise, she'd be a lock. And Warren and him don't seem to like each other. I don't see that happening. Will be interesting to see.
