I don't take people seriously, who use the word "establishment," let alone a candidate. He's toxic.

What an irresponsible comment.

The "establishment" is what helped 2018 happen, the ACA and so much more.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

who worked their butts off and stuck their necks out to impeach Trump and have been getting death threats ever since. The Democratic "establishment" got us Social Security and Medicare and the Clean Air Act and collective bargaining for unions and the New Deal and the Civil Rights Act and just about every other damn thing that ever made this country worth living in. Fuck anybody who says fuck the establishment.

The failure to hold the Reagan Democrats and the white South led to the final collapse of the New Deal coalition. In 1984, Reagan carried 49 states against former Vice President and Minnesota Senator Walter Mondale, a New Deal stalwart.[106]

In response to these landslide defeats, the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) was created in 1985. It worked to move the party rightwards to the ideological center in order to recover some of the fundraising that had been lost to the Republicans due to corporate donors supporting Reagan.

Many on the left are critical of New Democrats. Left-wingers argue that New Democrats' supposedly ideological centrism and "Third Way" positions were nothing more than neoliberal[31] and right-wing ideologies being re-branded as "moderate".[29][32] In a 2017 BBC interview, Noam Chomsky contended that "the Democrats gave up on the working class forty years ago".[33]

Based on his Jill Stein supporting hires and his pugnacious statements, I would say that Sanders beats every Dem in Congress for most execrable personality.

It's like asking whether you'd rather have the flu or cancer. I'd rather have the flu than cancer, but I would really rather have neither.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
