Although he only lost three points in overall support i n the poll, the results were devastating to Bloombergs favorability rating:

In a favorability poll a few days ago, trump had a 49% favorability rating. Does that translate to votes? I don't know

(13,058 posts)It may be too early to make that determination and after all it's just one poll. But I do think it's interesting that one debate performance is enough for his rating to decline as much as that. I think that whoever advised him to participate in that debate gave bad advice. And it will be interesting to see what happens in the next debate scheduled for South Carolina. I know I can't wait.

(8,054 posts)To be mounted on NDAs and iffy past comments in a debate setting, especially against a woman doing the attacking on that topic. Sometimes you just have to take your whacks and move on. Im sure MSNBC or whoever planned the debate stage knew ahead of time where to put Warren for maximum impact.
We will see what happens next debatehes never going to do as well as the professional litigators onstage or those who have been debating 9 times over the past year, and should try to lower expectations for him.
