Bloomberg Net Favorability CRATERS 20 points in Post-Debate Poll, Bernie and Warren Gain Support

https://www.mediaite.com/news/bloomberg-net-favorability-craters-20-points-in-post-debate-poll-bernie-and-warren-gain-support/

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg saw his net favorability crater by 20 points in a poll conducted before ands after the Nevada Democratic presidential debate, while Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders were the only candidates to gain support in the poll.

The Morning Consult survey of national Democratic primary voters was taken before and after a debate that saw Bloomberg take heavy fire — particularly from Warren. Although he only lost three points in overall support i n the poll, the results were devastating to Bloomberg’s favorability rating:

Are Democrats realizing that the emperor has no clothes?

ads are still running strong, so I take these "favorability" polls with a large grain of salt

In a favorability poll a few days ago, trump had a 49% favorability rating. Does that translate to votes? I don't know

It may be too early to make that determination and after all it's just one poll. But I do think it's interesting that one debate performance is enough for his rating to decline as much as that. I think that whoever advised him to participate in that debate gave bad advice. And it will be interesting to see what happens in the next debate scheduled for South Carolina. I know I can't wait.

His Unfavorables are up 10% across the board - from roughly 20% to 30%

His Favorables are still above 50% in all demographic groups.

"emperor" you refer to.

I believe that Bloomberg has far more clothes than Sanders does.

To be mounted on NDAs and iffy past comments in a debate setting, especially against a woman doing the attacking on that topic. Sometimes you just have to take your whacks and move on. I’m sure MSNBC or whoever planned the debate stage knew ahead of time where to put Warren for maximum impact.
We will see what happens next debate—he’s never going to do as well as the professional litigators onstage or those who have been debating 9 times over the past year, and should try to lower expectations for him.
