Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumNot a big Biden fan, but Peggy Noonan can suck it.
According to Morning Joe, Noonan OpEd (out tomorrow) is using Biden as a punching bag for everything wrong with the Democrats. Tough...let Joe be Joe. IMHO, Peggy Noonan is everything wrong with politics in general. Run, Joe, Joe. Let us real voters decide, not Miss Richy-Rich talking down her nose to us.
I will post a link if I can find it. Carry on.

(94,598 posts)Her perspective is that Biden is a politician out of the 80s when Republicans and Democrats overlapped in the middle, and cooperation was accepted practice. That philosophy runs counter to the partisan divide we have today.

(7,142 posts)I voted for Biden in the primary instead of Barack Obama because Biden was a strong union man as am I. His appeal to workers back in the 80's will be the same today for workers.

(94,598 posts)..."Identity Politics" constituencies are seen as a more significant pool of Primary voters.
And to the extent that Union votes are still there, you'll have Tim Ryan And Pete Buttigieg going after them as well.
As for you voting for Biden in 2008...how did he do? (answer: dropped out after getting 1% in Iowa Caucus)
