Bloomberg's 50-state strategy

Anyone not think that the Bloomberg campaign has not done the calculus on Sander's supporters staying home if the former is nominated? Anyone not think that the machine he is putting together does not include a massive voter registration outreach in every state to offset the latter and the shitbag's finite numbers and a plan to get them to the polls?

He and his leadership team are smart motherfuckers and, yes, they've done the math.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Yes, I read that, my post was a response to the statement. The Bloomberg campaign is not going to throw up its hands in the air and quit but probably has a strategy to offset the detestable sore losers if he is the nominee (incidentally, I will vote for Sanders if he secures the nomination).

I may have inadvertently coined the equivalent of Deplorables, Detestables.

We live out in the middle of nowhere, almost 100 miles from the closest major city.

The Bloomberg campaign is the only campaign that's contacted her, other than a few mailings from Senate candidate Mark Kelly.

Both Mara Gay and Joy Reid were talking about the depth of support he has in African American communities. We really don't care about the nasty little purity fights some candidates are having. He has an amazing track record in communities of color. He's donated over 90 BILLION dollars to people and places we care about. My daughters all love the guy. So that meme about his not having any support in my community is ridiculous. I have yet to find anyone that has a negative opinion of him. I've heard from a lot of peope that have said they're not voting if Bernie gets in though. That's a big problem for us all.

Why? Because they hold primaries, too, and send delegates to the convention. The other campaigns can't afford to campaign in all 50 states, so they pick and choose and skip the rest. Bloomberg doesn't have that limitation. He's paying for his own campaign, and has plenty of money to do that.

It's going to tell as more and more states hold their primaries. Voters are going to see Bloomberg ads everywhere. In many places, those are the only ads they'll see. They're going to see yard signs, too. My wife picked one up at the newly-opened Bloomberg campaign headquarters in St. Paul this weekend.

Guess what she said when she got home? "They didn't even want a contribution, and they had hundreds of yard signs there."

Go ask for a yard sign at some other candidate's local office. If they have any, you won't get one unless you donate. Foolish. I've had that happen to me many times. I've donated and gotten my sign. But Bloomberg isn't looking for donations. That's refreshing.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
