Yes, the Party is in severe disarray.

Last edited Fri Feb 7, 2020, 07:00 PM - Edit history (1)

A multitude of candidates. No clear winner, and now, the debacle of the Iowa caucuses and still no real idea who won.

Has there ever been a Party in such disarray?

I am speaking, obviously, about the GOP in 2012.

But the media, the supposedly liberal media, quickly forgets what happened to conservatives last week, much less 8 years ago.

And so, we are treated to an endless series of articles, and tweets, and op-eds insisting that the Democratic Party is in total meltdown.

Our response should be to use this as inspiration to go out and register new voters, help voters check if they are still registered, and reach out to the large mass of uninformed and general uninterested potential voters.

My view.

Edited to add: My post is a sarcastic reply to the US media figures who insist on a double standard.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

never suggested that the GOP should move more to the center. And the US corporate media never once suggested that the GOP should compromise with the Democrats.

Such things are reserved for the Democrats.

All I can think about is:

Who can beat Trump?

and,

Will someone, anyone, please take the lead here so I can unite behind them?

In other words, there a sense of desperation I've never ever experienced before. I blame myself for that.

But it's so very early, and I've never paid this much attention to Iowa, NH, NV, etc... I used to not even wake up until Super Tuesday.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
