(1,773 posts)At some point, all but one of the candidates will go through this process of laying off staff and tightening the old belt. It's perhaps the saddest aspect of this wonderful, democratic process of ours.
Yang is an interesting guy. I hope we hear more from him in the future.

(1,205 posts)A joy getting to know him. He has youth and tech savvy crowd and they are a bit out of the box. I thought the smart youth would head to Buttigieg. But I am good with Biden, too.

(115,103 posts)Biden has been the only candidate to recognize the threat posed to workers by automation, and that's a big issue to almost all of us.

(1,205 posts)Sanders supporters bad rap with all Democrats. Lol. We have five awesome Democrats that are smart, effective and will serve us well. Well, maybe six with Bloomberg if he has to jump in. I am done with old feelings. I think if Buttigieg and Wang got in the same room, we would see a comradeship and excite and fun energy of smart, well adjusted adults. Don't you think it would be fun for the two to interact? I could see it. So, I am over all the previous stuff, and looking at today.
Again, I am good with Buttigieg people going with Biden. Not trying to change anyone's mind.

(7,869 posts)I thought that was where he was hoping to catch a spark to begin with.
And I thought he bragged about raising so much money, relatively speaking. What did he do with it, if he is firing people just one state in?
I figured he would be one of those candidates that stuck around well past their expiration date, so, at least maybe that is the silver lining in this news (i.e., that he won't be staying in for much longer if he continues to be nonviable).

(22,877 posts)He has a vision.. a real vision. In a way, this campaign is going to be so dirty that I am almost glad he is not in it. The Russian affiliated Republicans are going to try and go through all our candidates and dirty them up..
Let me just say.. He has the best hats ever..
