Such moments change things. It propelled Hillary to a shocking comeback in New Hampshire a dozen years ago.

He had very thorough, detailed answers to the questions and he really connected with the audience. One woman appeared to be in tears when he was talking about disabilities.

He has moved me to tears more times than I can count. This is a good man, everything that Donald Trump will never be.

I have great respect for Biden and what he's overcome; but the OP brings up the point that Biden "needed a moment" in the campaign and this was it. I'm contesting that point.

the best chance of stopping Sanders from winning, I'd vote for Buttigieg, just to stop Sanders.

But it doesn't mean I prefer Buttigieg to Biden, or think he'd be a better nominee.

These first two states don't mean that much when all is said and done. NH will be Bernie's high water mark.
