Uncle Joe on picking a Veep

I tell ya, this is the ONLY candidate who knows EXACTLY what it takes to do the job and hit the ground running on day one, because he has already done the job!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

It is advice that any prospective presidential candidate might want to listen to. Pick someone capable of taking over the job of president if need be, someone who shares your vision, and someone who you can work with. Also said that any administration should be as diverse as the people it represents.

It was a good answer and reflects his experience as a vice president.

According to his campaign surrogates, Iowa and New Hampshire don't count because they are not diverse enough. Not sure how that argument works out form him in November when it comes to the electoral college.

supporters are saying this, they are talking about the primary. State by state, where Biden is now predicted to be strong definitely gives him a path by which to beat Trump.

How things play out we can’t know with any candidate, though one with wide appeal across diverse populations and the political spectrum, AA electorate support, and superior qualifications
and experience for the presidency specifically seems a good bet to me.

saying it would be presumptuous to name someone.

Biden can stand up for himself and his principles, but he’s never been known as arrogant.

Your guy has won one caucus and is to be congratulated, but it represents a fraction of the wins
he will need in the places where Biden is still predicted to be quite strong and way ahead of Buttigieg.

Joe's answer was very thoughtful and based on his own experience working in the Obama administration.
