Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumDoes Buttigieg's strong showing make a first ballot win for Sanders less likely?
Democratic Party rules allow superdelegates to vote on the second ballot at the convention, and there's no mystery about whether many of them would prefer Biden/Buttigieg/Warren or Sanders. That pretty much means that Sanders has to win on the first ballot of the convention- does Buttigieg's strong showing make that less likely?

(3,649 posts)Bernie also does very well with Latinos, and with Biden's campaign on the ropes African Americans may need to find someone else to support soon.

(314 posts)Sanders needed a massive win in Iowa to sustain the narrative that he had a shot.
And that did not happen.
