Political campaigns
Daou was an online communications adviser to John Kerry's 2004 campaign, and led Hillary Clinton's digital operation in her 2008 campaign.[10]

Digital media
Daou was the prior chief executive of Shareblue.[10] and the co-founder of the media platform Verrit, which was placed on hiatus in early 2018.[11]

He's just stating his opinion to the world at large.

And I think it's dead on, especially:

"If you're making judgments about #LucyFlores based on whether it helps Bernie Sanders, you're getting it wrong.

"If you're making judgments based on whether it hurts Bernie Sanders, you're also getting it wrong."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Daou

Peter Daou (born April 25, 1965) is a Democratic strategist who has advised major political figures, including Hillary Clinton, Arlen Specter, and John Kerry. He was described by the New York Times as "one of the most prominent political bloggers in the nation." The Washington Post said that his early work in digital politics helped innovate "a whole new way of campaigning."

Daou was an online communications adviser to John Kerry's 2004 campaign, and led Hillary Clinton's digital operation in her 2008 campaign.

Daou was the prior chief executive of Shareblue, and the co-founder of the media platform Verrit.

Daou and James Boyce claimed to have performed a founding role in the Huffington Post and said they were shut out of any profits from its sale to AOL. A suit was filed in 2010 by Daou and Boyce, which was settled in 2014.

That includes when you take Biden’s patriarchal tendencies into place. This asshole couldn’t make it sound any worse. This is a continuation of the political smear campaign. I will never dismiss Biden’s patriarchal tendencies. I will also never dismiss Biden’s excellent moral compass and decency. This is absurd.

I'm astounded at how short-sighted this whole approach is. Women have waited forever to be taken seriously, to have their voices heard. This sort of nonsense just cuts the whole message off at the knees.

Stupid and counterproductive.

44. "my default position is #BelieveWomen."
Mon Apr 1, 2019, 08:31 PM

Really?

Two words for one example: Sarah Palin

or how about: Rosie Ruiz

or Anna Anderson

or the youngest female victim of Luis Vargas who stands by her identification after DNA cleared him

or Jennifer Thompson who admitted she must have been wrong after the man she accused served 11 years before DNA freed him.

I could go on and on.

You have to use your head. You don't automatically believe someone because of their sex.

The "default" position above is WRONG!!

The default position should be something like : listen to the allegations, take them seriously and encourage someone in authority checks them out. Don't completely doubt her. Don't completely accept what she is saying.

The stats are much better than they used to be years ago. Now, roughly 95% of the time now, women are not lying according to some studies. So that is incentive to take the allegation seriously. But it goes too far to hear an allegation and automatically believe it. Where is the due process in that?

With what is going on here, it is sketchier. It's not full blown sexual assault. And the timing is suspect. Both women have mentioned politics. It is a different situation and not in the sexual assault veracity category in my opinion.

The pictures of Ms Flores at the event do not reveal a troubled woman with Joe Biden. She had all kinds of time to chat it over with him. In my opinion, she should have contacted him first to see what he had to say about it before blindsiding him in the media.

To automatically believe someone because they are a woman is discrimination. It's wrong.

He and Penn are part of the reason why Clinton's 2008 campaign flopped so badly. I was an Obama supporter in 2008 and was on the Obama voter protection team.

Had Daou worked for any democrats since 2008?
