Let me be blunt; I love the Iowa Caucuses...

Yes, I know all the issues about it being unrepresentative and not making it as easy to vote as States with early and absentee ballots. But I started out in political as a Ward Committeeman in Philadelphia, and this is politics at its rawest and most local. This isn't a rigged process by Party bosses; its ordinary voters and discussing issues and candidates, and deciding who they want to repent them. And its an excellent primer on which campaigns can organize, sell their candidate and turn out supporters.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

3. I appreciate your point, but I consider people who aren't part of the campaign teams to be ordinary

Yes it requires more effort to vote than a Primary, but MOST people at Caucus sites are ordinary voters to show up to state their preference. They're not part of the horse trading and speech-making.

to discuss the candidates; they have a favorite candidate and they want to privately and anonymously make their opinion count.

They are elsewhere tonight.

is running to each candidates area of people.

There is a age range of 65 and over going for Biden, and younger people are for Bernie.
