Every group has to decide how to set expectations.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm in New Hampshire and already mailed in my absentee ballot for Joe. I don't have a feel for how people will vote here though. We have an awful lot of republicans.

with words and tone changed from one report of the story to the other for obvious purposes.
The original story claimed that staffers said they "felt" it's not going great and then that got changed to they admit it's not going great.

Does anyone really believe that just before people start to participate in an election, that staff members of a campaign run to journalists and tell them it's not going great? Before any actual votes came in? Ridiculous.

It's ok that you don't know that the Independent is a left leaning paper. It's not ok that you claim it's some right wing source when it very famously isn't. Just look it up next time.

It is someone from the Independent who tweeted about someone from The Hill who quoted an unnamed Biden ally who claims that most Biden aides, whoever the fuck that may be, feel "it's not going to be great".

A far cry from the Biden team admitting "it's not going great".
