she's making a good case. I really like her and think she'd make a fine president. so far, still plan on voting for Warren, but I could change my mind.

(4,465 posts)Moderate Republican friends I have like her, think she could get their votes. Warren and Sanders they do not like.
They also like Pete.

(28,799 posts)even though i want to vote my gut in the primary, it's something to ponder.
once the nominee is decided it's the democrat, just the democrat.

Not changing my mind either, but if Sanders or Warren don't get the nomination, I sure hope either Mayor Pete or Klobuchar does.

(23,105 posts)Still planning on voting for Joe, but if something happens to him (sure it won't) by the late date of my primary I would definitely consider her. I really like Liz's policies, but my friends who are moderate Dems or left leaning Independents despise her almost as much as they do Bernie, so I have concerns about her potential candidacy.
Still think Joe is the best person to beat drumpf and repug fear of him seems to show this is correct.

(49,991 posts)Yes, that sounds superficial. But the reality is that people need to be inspired and energized. She's Dukakis 2.0

(17,863 posts)Everyone of the Democratic candidates (expect the one(s) who is a stalking horse) would make good presidents. In this day and age you have to also have charisma. Warren has got it (even though I disagree with her on a policy position that I think will cost us Wisconsin) but Klobuchar doesn't have it. I want her to have it. I have backed her for President since the day after the 2016 election. I caucus for her tonight, and I think she can win Wisconsin (which is my litmus test).

I'd still vote for her against Trump but I think she would likely lose.

The salad story you are talking about is a little different. She ate the salad with her comb and made the aid go wash it. If it was just one or two little incidents, it wouldn't be a big deal. But she seems to make a habit of this kind of behavior.

(4,921 posts)Warren is strongly left progressive. Klobuchar is much more a centrist.
That being said, I'd be OK voting for her if she comes out of all this as the nominee. Not my preference for a platform, but she's still a liberal and would do great as president.

(2,706 posts)I said you. Your attitude wont help Joe. It could turn off others. Just like the Sanders supporters.
Joe supporters should be kissing up to Amys voters, as they could mean the difference between a win or loss tonight. And in the states that follow.

(28,799 posts)I am thinking that Klobuchar can bring the mid-west and get a lot of republicans to vote for her because she speaks their language. I'm voting for the Democrat no matter who, but suddenly instead of sticking to my plan of voting for the one I want, I'm thinking of throwing my vote to someone who I like but also think may have a better shot in the general.
