Can We Just All Get Along Please?

Can we please just move forward and support whoever is going to be the Democratic candidate?

If there are trolls around the just love all this bickering we are playing right into their hands.

We have to focus on our country, is it Democracy or an Authoritarian Dictatorship.

Recommended. Your post, that is.

There is the big picture, the election itself, and the necessity of defeating Trump and his GOP enablers, and smaller pictures.

Done with this back and forth crap. Notice the trolls keep dredging it up. Every day some other little dust up.
I could give a rat’s ass about these skirmishes. DROP IT. I say.

Diplomat butts into hot disputes, presuming that the combatants will welcome and appreciate his even-handed and eminently reasonable mediation. Frankly, he gets what he deserves.

In addition, one should always remember that no good deed goes unpunished.

This is the season of primary fights where we push who we think is the best for moving us forward.. It's been like this on DU since W got elected and this site was created. As far as trolls go I dismiss them immediately. i don't waste my time on them.

We also survive it too. Pull together and move on.

I guess we should call it constructive criticism and DU can be very passionate for their choice of candidate. I guess we can call it a family squabble.

Being here on DU for elections high energy here no doubt about that.

I’m all for intelligent back and forth but the vitriol many supporters of candidates—ALL candidates are spewing has only two effects. It makes actual thought impossible and it gives the right a nuclear bomb to use against us. We become the weapon of our own destruction. And candidates themselves pick up on what seems like a necessity, to attack the person, not the policies or actual concerns. It’s hard to be the one with the open hand when everyone else has a fist, but I want to be that person.

Thank you for the post. I could use one every day.
