One person's take on Dem candidates vs Trump in Electoral College.

This is just one person's take looking at each states demographics. Agree or disagree, it's interesting to hear his take. He seems to think Biden is the strongest candidate against Trump. He has all the Dem candidates beating Trump but some only by a hair.

1. Biden makes me nervous

He ran for the nomination several times and always screwed it up. I like him and think he's certainly well qualified, though.

During his 8-year stint wiyh Obama he was quite the model VP and highly experienced and resourceful. That was the game changer for me.

7. Many factors make Biden an ideal candidate

The Beau Biden factor.
His close friendship with John McCain helps Biden with Independents and the rare species of moderate Republicans fed up with Dim donald.
He was Obama's veep which again helps more as time goes on.
He has proved to e a better diplomat on the world stage than the orange judas (unless you are talking about tyrants). Of course with our allies Yosemite Sam would be a better diplomat.

Like I said earlier, I am not looking for the Dem candidate to pull out a win, I want them to pound tRump and the radical GOP into submission. I want the start of a twenty year run in the White House like we had in 1933-1953 and even when the Republicans won they did it with a moderate candidate like Ike.

2. OK, that's fine and all,but I have a different take...

...With a mediocre candidate, running a mediocre campaign, Trump won by 80K votes. Let me repeat that, TRUMP WON BY 80 THOUSAND VOTES!!!!! As long as we let the process work, and we don't have people putting their thumb on the scale for another candidate (I'm looking at you Debbie Wasserman Schultz), we will be fine. ALL of our candidates are better than the last election. And the political winds are at our backs. We will be fine.

4. If we have the kind of overall turnout we had in 2008, it will pay dividends in every battleground.

I think Harris is our best option. I think Harris puts the most battleground states in play (including NC, GA, FL and AZ). Beto as VP could boost turnout even higher.

And let's remember that PA and MI were blue in 6 of the last 7 presidential elections, while WI was blue in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections. We were winning by an average of 7+ points in each of those states, too. I think there were a number of factors at play in 2016 that won't be at play in 2020 (a vilified Democratic nominee, Trump's newness and people feeling he was 'worth a shot', Trump's bullshit promises that haven't been kept, Comey's last minute announcement, etc., etc.).

However, russians, repugs, and whomever else have and will continue to play 'games,' and I'm afraid that may be our worst nightmare. We're doing little against them, I understand.

Asking for a friend. Trying to find out more about "Political Forecast". Went to their Youtube channel and the home page doesn't make it clear.

Edit to add... Each vignette displays a small banner for Trump and the respective opponent, but each contains and therefore promotes Trump's tag line, "Make America Great Again." Yet, no democratic opponent's campaign slogan is included. Hmmm. Very interesting.
