(4,558 posts)For me, it's all about getting Bernie Sanders out of the race as fast as possible and reduced the damage he does this time around, and who has the best chance of flipping enough of the electoral college votes that went to Cheetolini in 2016 to a Democratic Party candidate to hit that magical 270 to win.
I'm very excited about Buttigieg. I will have no problem at all getting fully behind him should it look like he's the one to oust the monstrosity in the Whitehouse once the season really kicks off, some debates are behind us, and some solid polls are trending.

(11,145 posts)What Pete has accomplished with little name recognition and little money up to this point is a testament to his KSA's. The long knives will really come out now but I am sure that Pete can handle it.
My "polling" is not complete yet but so far a lot of the hold your nose and vote for trumpers in my immediate sphere have said how much they really like Pete. It's kind of blown me away and made me feel hopeful for the future for the first time in a long time.
