And she warned against party disunity when facing off against an incumbent President Trump in 2020.

“That cannot happen again,” she said. “I don’t care who the nominee is. I don’t care. As long as it’s somebody who can win, and as long as it’s somebody who understands politics is the art of addition, not subtraction.”

When promoting the film, she initially declined to tell The Hollywood Reporter whether she would endorse or campaign for Mr. Sanders if he were the nominee; hours later, she clarified on Twitter that “I will do whatever I can to support our nominee.”

Despicable as they are in many ways, Republicans do know how to tow the party line when it's necessary: that's how they managed to get and keep control. They unite behind so-called leaders because they're playing a long game to control the country. We're not good at this, as we've shown time and again.

Clinton - whatever you think of her - is not the issue. Uniting behind a candidate who can defeat Trump in November is. All this infighting is doing is creating a wedge the GOP can use AGAIN to return that clown to the White House.

140. Tlaib expresses regret for booing Hillary Clinton at Sanders event, says supporters 'deserve better'
Sat Feb 1, 2020, 03:11 PM
Feb 2020

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., on Saturday expressed regret for booing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s name at a Bernie Sanders campaign event in Iowa, saying that his supporters “deserve better.”

“In this instance, I allowed my disappointment with Secretary Clinton's latest comments about Senator Sanders and his supporters get the best of me. You all, my sisters-in-service on stage, and our movement deserve better,” she said in a statement.

The moderator at the event in Clive, Iowa on Friday had mentioned remarks by Clinton, in which she had said that “nobody likes” Sen. Sanders, I-Vt.. Clinton beat Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary before going on to lose to then-candidate Donald Trump in the general election.

When members of the audience booed, moderator Dionna Langford hushed them: “We’re not gonna boo, we’re classy here.”

But Tlaib, who was seated alongside fellow Reps. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., objected and backed the booing crowd.

Last year Hillary defended Tlaib and others when they were attacked by Donald Trump.
