Tlaib already has one Democratic opponent, but since she barely won the 2018 primary it is likely that she will face more serious opposition. See post #55 for more info. The seat she holds was previously held by Conyers before he resigned.

55. Tlaib won the 2018 Democratic primary by 900 votes in a six candidate race:
Sat Feb 1, 2020, 02:56 AM
Feb 2020

Democratic primary for U.S. House Michigan District 13

Candidate % Votes
Rashida Tlaib (D) 31.2% 27,841
Brenda Jones (D) 30.2% 26,941
Bill Wild (D) 14.1% 12,613
Coleman Young II (D) 12.5% 11,172
Ian Conyers (D) 6.6% 5,861
Shanelle Jackson (D) 5.4% 4,853

The Democratic primary isn't until August, but based upon her level of support in the 2018 primary, expect for Tlaib to be primaried. There is already one candidate that announced, Stephen Michael Patterson, but he appears to be a marginal candidate since he also announced that he is running for president.
