my post/reply. In my reply I cited that Bidens made $15 million dollars since leaving the WH. My further replies questioned how any candidate with such a wide income disparity in comparison to the median income of Americans could truly represent the majority of the population. One of the replies I received was that it was because of his wealth that the candidate (being discussed on the post) is smarter and therefore more fit to be president because of his wealth. Under his financial theory I replied that Trump deserves to be president because of his wealth.

Guess what, I was flagged and my post removed. Must have hurt the feelings of this DUer. Too bad, man up.

I think attacking Bernie for getting paid for writing a book is stupid. Obviously him and Warren are the ones who will do the most to address inequality. The fact that he got paid to write a book is just used as an excuse by people who don't want to address inequality.

It is far worse then one sees superficially and the statistics are mere waves bobbing on the sea, so to speak.

You get: An Oligarchy. A Theocracy. An Oligarchical Theocracy. A Theocratic Oligarchy.

The theorcratic element can be a very useful tool for Fascism, which is what this all boils down to. In American, at least, we already see a tendency to trade freedom and rights for authoritarian control and to conflate an an authoritarian dictator with the will of their god or as a representative. It becomes an excellent way to exploit gullibility when the believers have very little understanding even of their professed religion and become loyalists that are easily lead and controlled since they are not able to recognize differences that are essential.

In any case, they are all the true enemies of democracy and, if nothing curbs the complete ownership of the planet, (and I am not being hyperbolic) that is already in progress, what we have known of our fragile democracy might be some quaint, historical notion for those who come to live to provide nothing but the RETURN the owners demand from their investment, no matter how much they squire.
