Bolton is in tough situation, if he includes spicy details in his book, he makes tons of money.
On the other hand he will become a pariah in the GOP where he has made a great living.

He told his staff to go to the lawyers. That it was a drug deal. Thats all on record.
What he briefly said in public, off the direct topic, hardly matters.

(6,110 posts)That Trump wanted to pressure Ukraine to investigate corruption because Ukraine has this reputation of one of the most corrupt countries in the world, and that kills 2 birds with one stone because it would help him politically in election 2020 if Biden becomes his rival, IF something was uncovered about Biden's role in Burisma.
