this might be the most outrageous statement I heard on the DU!

People cant even vote for their nominee of choice in the primary according to you

talk like this is why you have Bernie or bust people cause when I read this it makes me dislike Biden more and I like Biden even if he isnt my top 5 choice. You make me want t stay home come Nov.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

I'm not saying people can't vote for who they want. My opinion is that giving the nomination to Bernie will be handing the presidency to trump for another 4 years. I've watched this stuff come down for over 50 yrs and I've seen it time and time again. If you want a repeat of McGovern or Dukakis, go ahead and give the nomination to Bernie.

primary today, I would vote for:

Do I think Biden as the nominee makes it easier to take out Trump? Yes
I actually think Biden will win in a landslide

Do I think it will be harder for Bernie to beat Trump? Yes
But I do think he could win a close election

But I do think if Bernie wins we would have real change for the working class & poor in this country. Extreme change on what I believe in. For the first time we would have a President not held to special interest. Reagan changed this country to a trickle down economy and I promise you that Biden will do nothing to change that. Yes, Biden will improve this country for the poor & middle class but he will not turn this country back around before the Reagan area.

Bernie would not have a chance against a normal Republican but against Trump we could finally get a real progressive President. That could make real serious change. I'm starting to think its worth the risk.

Who has he actually helped, other than his staff and family, in terms of getting affordable health care?

How has he quantifiably helped the poor and working class in this country?

What real accountability has he implemented for Wall Street?

How has he effected change even in Vermont concerning social justice issues?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
