You know what I'm for? I'm for having primary elections and letting them

decide who the Democratic nominee will be. I'll defer to what the people in the United States decide in our 50 states.

Once the primaries are all over and the delegates to the convention are allocated, that convention will elect a nominee to represent the Democratic party.

And then, you know what I'm going to do?

I'm going to vote for that nominee and try to get as many others to go to the polls and do the same thing as I can.

Whoever the nominee turns out to be, that person will get my vote.

That's what I'm in favor of happening. I'll defer to the will of the voters in each of our states and to the Democratic Party's convention method of turning that into a nomination.

Yup. Meanwhile, I'll be supporting the primary candidate I think can beat Donald Trump in November. You can see his face just below. But, if the face that shows up in your post becomes the nominee, you can count on my vote for that person.

That's fair, I think. Don't you?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

We're all worn out and we haven't even had our first caucus / primary.

None of it will affect the outcome one bit, but it will certainly stir up bad feelings and distrust.

Ugh!

It's the primary campaign. I am supporting one of the candidates and working against the others, in one way or another. That is what I can do to try to help my favorite candidate succeed. However, I recognize that I have very little to do with any candidate's success or failure, so I'm ready for whatever happens.

I'm not, however, working against your favorite candidate, because I don't think he has any chance at the nomination.

Just mho.

I don't see how working against other candidates helps yours. In fact I have observed that the opposite is true.

I get to participate as best I can in influencing the outcome. But, I will accept the outcome, whatever it is, and support the eventual nominee. That does not mean that I see all candidates as good choices for that nomination. During the campaign, I will discuss my reasons for favoring or disfavoring any of them.

That doesn't mean I will pout and refuse to support the nominee, though. That would be truly stupid of me to do, wouldn't it?
