(2,657 posts)that Warren, Biden, Buttigieg, and Bloomberg supporters are mostly true blue Democrats. I suspect Klobuchar would come out much the same. As for who the 16% of Sanders and 42% of Yang supporters are, your guess is as good as mine. I suspect some of it comes from Republicans or Independents that lean Republican, and that that support might crater after Trump and company began showing those Republicans how much Sanders and Yang are not like traditional Republicans.

(58,785 posts)mostly true blue Democrats.
Some may be taking this opportunity to express rejection of someone they worry could get the nomination. For instance, some of Biden's black Christians who can't support Buttigieg's gender orientation and those appalled by Sanders whose families fled socialist regimes in Europe, Asia, and Central/South America. With further empowering of fascistic, white nationalist trumpism the only alternative next November, I'm guessing those "depends" are actually pretty solidly blue. Trump would help get almost all of that group to the polls.
This shows huge differences between Warren's supporters and Sanders'. It also completely BLASTS the dishonest media who seek to undermine Democrats by portraying the two, and those they draw, as very alike, and especially the theme they hit every time that all 6 groups shown here are in strong opposition to other Democrats. The lying liars "big ideological rift" that was nonexistent in the midterms as well.
Of course, the usual sorts who said no and meant it did, and will when the time comes. Sanders no surprise, he has less mainstream support this time, so his 24% NEVER A DEMOCRAT of 2016 is now 31% plus of a smaller group.
538 said the little "Yang gang" averages young, drawn by an internet-savvy campaign that plays them with their own memes, and this says most of those who aren't in for Democrats are undecided. Only 9% are the kind of hostile anti-Democrat extremists, conservatives and whatevers who'd be Sanders' "nevers" if Yang wasn't running.

(15,374 posts)where the largest percentages of "NO" voters are. What I find to be surprising and disheartening are the 5 per cent of Biden supporters who will NOT vote for the Democratic nominee. Period.
I am not at all surprised by the large percentage of Sanders voters who want to hedge their bets, however.
As an absolutely committed Warren supporter, I am proud to state that I am also absolutely committed to voting for whoever is the Democratic nominee.
