Dorry about that!
Nice analysis!
The stump speech: Warrens 44-minute speech in Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 7, 2020
Elizabeth Warrens central message is that the core problem the country faces is that the government helps the powerful, not the bulk
of Americans.
"When you see a government that works great for those with money and doesnt work so great for much of anyone else, that is corruption, pure and simple," Warren said.
Warrens solution is "big structural change," and it comes in three steps.
Step 1: Pass a sweeping anti-corruption plan that would "end lobbying as we know it."
Step 2: Change the rules to rebalance economic power. That involves enforcing antitrust law, boosting the power of unions, and enacting a wealth tax. The money from the wealth tax (2% on net worth over $50 million) would fund many of Warrens plans, such as universal child care, increased funding for public schools and college debt relief.
Step 3: Ensure the right to vote. Warren called for a constitutional amendment to protect voter rights. Shed also push to ban all political gerrymandering, and roll back Citizens United, a key court ruling that lifted limits on corporate and union spending in elections.
***********
The analysis rates Warren's speaking of the issues/remedies as "on the money," "only part of the picture," correct," "close to accurate," "might not deliver," "basically right," and "correct." All in all, it was a favorable analysis.
But don't take my word for it. Please read it for yourself. And do be sure to see the analyzer for the candidate you support as well.

(761 posts)on a free public access channel. She creates a story about graft and corruption being called out and dealt with. She puts the perpetrator in the role of abuse. There is no saving grace for greed or for the rich and powerful doing what they do best. She exposes greed for using deception and corruption to try and identify greed as capitalism at its best. Hopefully the message will come out that lobbying and fraud are not capitalism.
