Trump: 'I don't believe' Sanders said a woman can't win the presidency

President Trump on Tuesday waded into a dispute between Democratic presidential hopefuls Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), dismissing allegations that Sanders told Warren that he did not believe a woman could win the presidency.

Trump appeared to defend the Vermont senator amid the claims while speaking to supporters at a rally in Milwaukee, Wis., saying, "I don’t know him. I don’t particularly like him, but I don’t believe he said it," adding that it's "not the kind of thing he'd say."

It's the same reason why Trump was talking about the democratic primary in October of 2016.

That is why Russians and Republicans have his back, because he is divisive. Warren is just as a progressive as Bernie is, but you don't see Trump defending Warren.

Bernie pushes a false equivalency between the Republicans/Democratic "establishment."

Reminded me of the tobacco executives testifying before congress about cigarettes and addiction. This is a classic bit of history. The good guys are, of course, the Democrats.

And ever since then the use of that word has been a big red flag. One of Sanders' messengers "believed" just today that Warren was lying.
