President Trump on Tuesday waded into a dispute between Democratic presidential hopefuls Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), dismissing allegations that Sanders told Warren that he did not believe a woman could win the presidency.
Trump appeared to defend the Vermont senator amid the claims while speaking to supporters at a rally in Milwaukee, Wis., saying, "I dont know him. I dont particularly like him, but I dont believe he said it," adding that it's "not the kind of thing he'd say."

Bernie pushes a false equivalency between the Republicans/Democratic "establishment."

(58,785 posts)Reminded me of the tobacco executives testifying before congress about cigarettes and addiction. This is a classic bit of history. The good guys are, of course, the Democrats.
And ever since then the use of that word has been a big red flag. One of Sanders' messengers "believed" just today that Warren was lying.
