Inasmuch as there are 1900+ delegates necessary to win the nomination, he's got about 1890+ to go.

Now, let's talk about South Carolina, shall we?

Personally I remain hopeful.

I remember when Biden was over 30 points ahead and Sanders was supposed to have crashed and burned out before August.

And last i heard Sanders still leads in California.

Biden's only claim here is he is electable. But if he keeps losing ground, that will become an ever harder argument to make.

We will see.

not forget AA voters who support him as their political will should be more than a matter of expedience. I like the folks who have endorsed Biden and handle his campaign. Many object to many of Bernie’s connections. I could go on, but the point in sum is that Biden is not only electable, but a terrific candidate by a number of measures.

into Biden voters? 'Cuz the excitement factor just isn't there. Bernie's supporters, on the other hand, have double the excitement factor of Biden voters.

Most of the excitement is due to Bernie's bold progressive agenda, which working class folks can relate to... that excites the base, whereas a moderate incrementalist approach just doesn't generate the same level of excitement.

Welcome aboard the Bernie Express bullet train... next stop, the White House!!

Squint your eyes and stare at the following:

Now which set was more exciting? As Yoda would say, don't think. Feel.

....an "exciting" candidate maybe we should nominate Shaquille O'Neill or Michael Jordan?

We don't need an "exciting" candidate, we need one who can get us out of the mess we're in today. I'll take Biden over Sanders any day. At least Biden has a long career of accomplishment.

than delegates. Why do you think all of the major candidates except for Bloomberg are spending so much time and money in Iowa knowing that the best they can expect is a few delegates? It's because they hope to get momentum.
