Bakari Sellers: The Bernie Sanders argument he is more electable than Biden is wild to me.

The Bernie Sanders argument he is more electable than Biden is wild to me. Only Biden can help down ballot races from Doug Jones, to Joe Cunningham, to Stabenow.

For primary voters, Biden is going to sweep a whole region of the country. (The South)

Debbie Stabenow was re-elected in 2018 ...She defeated Republican John James …. Biden's Senate Record makes him exceedingly vulnerable to Trump attacks : For NAFTA , Author of the Crime Bill , big supporter of the Bankruptcy Bill , Big supporter of the Iraq War , led the charge for cuts in Social Security , Medicare and Medicaid - remember the Grand Bargain ? …. Just as Trump did with Hillary, He is going to attack Biden from the left and right ……...Biden is a weak campaigner ...Trump is a showmen on the stump , albeit a demagogic one …….. If we play it safe , we will lose it all

to avoid paying his failed business' debts. If Bernie is nominated you can expect the very effectively-toxic word "socialist" to be the first word in every GOP campaign ad. Nothing is more poisonous to the undecided, independent and swing voters the Democrats need than accusations of socialism. Yes, it's misunderstood, and that's why it's poisonous. I do not believe Bernie has a snowball's chance in Hell of beating Trump.

6. Sanders Launches Harsh Attack On Biden That Proves The Former VP Is The Most Electable Democrat
Fri Jan 3, 2020, 05:14 PM

The independent lawmaker’s comments are his sharpest attacks on Biden to date, but they show that Sanders recognizes that his biggest weakness – electability – is the former VP’s greatest strength.

The only problem with Sanders’ assessment of Biden’s chances against Trump is that a mountain of national and statewide polling data contradicts it.

In fact, based on the current RealClearPolitics average of state-by-state polling, Biden is the only candidate among the Democratic frontrunners – including Sanders – who is leading Trump in enough states to win the Electoral College.

As of Dec. 31, Biden stands at 322 electoral votes compared to Trump’s 166, with 50 electoral votes falling into the toss-up category.

Sanders, on the other hand, leads in states totaling just 265 electoral votes to Trump’s 257 electoral votes. Only North Carolina’s 15 electoral votes fall into the toss-up category.

primary today, I would vote for:

Has Sanders checked his own record, the various statements and videos floating through the ether? Not to mention his dubious votes, say on gun regulation and Russian sanctions???

Come on, Bernie. You're joking, no? Kettle and pot thing. Ever heard it?

Amy could do the same. "Only Biden" - someone should record a song

I'll go with Bowie
Sons of the Silent Age
search through their one inch thoughts
then decide it couldn't be done

or Bruce
Talk about a dream
Try to make it real
You wake up in the night
The fear's so real
You spend life waiting
for a moment that just won't come
Don't waste your time waiting
