Roger Lau: Warren has BEST fundraising day to date!

A few days before Tuesday's quarterly FEC fundraising report, we leveled with you.

We shared that we were still a good chunk behind our third quarter fundraising and set a goal of $20 million goal by December 31, which was what we'd need to raise to keep our plans on track.

Well today, I'm excited to share some great news with you. Thanks to supporters like you who stepped up and chipped in, we beat our goal and raised more than $21.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2019. And we saw a strong surge of support at the end — over $1.5 million came in on the last day of the year alone, our best fundraising day to date.

Team Warren is ready to dream big, fight hard, and win. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'll dig deeper into the numbers in just a sec, but first, I've got a quick and important plug. We hit our goal for 2019, but it's 2020 now, and we've got new, must-hit daily targets. Money we raise every day in January will get sent straight into connecting with voters and caucus-goers, and the first votes are just a few weeks away.

We can't slow down. Please make another contribution if you can right now to keep fighting by Elizabeth's side.

[ Roger Lau is the campaign manager for U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren's (D-Mass.) 2020 presidential campaign. Lau was the political director for Warren's 2012 Senate campaign, state director in her Senate office from 2013 until 2018, and campaign manager for her 2018 Senate campaign.]

Great job by Team Warren! My heart leapt when I read this email from Roger Lau!

This fund raising surge from small donors along with her resurgence in the latest polls shows Elizabeth Warren is ready to fight for all of us and for the changes we all need as average middle class people trying to get by in an economy rigged to pamper the richest 1%.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Following her polling, Warren's fundraising took a mid 4th quarter dip but then BOTH turned around at the end of the quarter!

December 31st was the BEST single day fundraising of her entire campaign, hauling in $1.5 million.

Team Warren took the unusual step of being painfully honest about this with their small donors and this honesty paid off with a very nice surge in funds!

Yeah, the story is the turn-around in what was lagging polls and fundraising in the mid 4th quarter to a late surge in both.

Team Warren took the unusual step of admitting this to their supporters and asking for them to renew their support, and that paid off handsomely getting Warren to $21.2 million dollars.

December 31st was THE SINGLE BEST fundraising day for the Warren campaign this primary season.

Warren's mid-4th quarter dip was real, as is her REAL surge in fundraising as the quarter closed.

Warren's honesty about this was refreshing.

Sooo, try to denigrate the Warren turnaround, but the fact is that Warren, Biden and Buttigieg are all on the same tier fundraising-wise and all three are chasing the fund raising king, Bernie Sanders and his eye-popping $34 MILLION raised this quarter.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

$1.5 million on December 31st alone!

And what's nice and even more important, is that Warren's polling numbers are also turning around after a mid 4th quarter dip too.

Just in time for Iowa and New Hampshire!
