My 2020 New Year's Resolution is to never criticize Bernie Sanders again.

Haaaaa! Kidding!

Happy New Year everyone! --- And that includes all the Bernie fans that I spar with... Happy New Year to you too! Even though Bernie won't be our party's nominee... we will ALL be able to rejoice and celebrate together when our party's eventual nominee wins the election and he (or she) becomes the Leader of the Free World.

 :wine: :champagne: :pepto-bismol:

I was watching a crime show about a prolific burgler who targeted the jewels of celebrities.....Phyllis was victim who was interviewed for the show and even though it was very hurtful (the bounty included a treasured gift from Bob Hope) she was in awe and laughing at how easily the theft was pulled off.

That Bernie will never be the nominee so Elitist.

Bernie is not my top choice but to deny what he has accomplished and the amount of support and support from young people is just foolish.

At our Christmas Eve Party this year I asked my nephews who they’re going to vote for both said Bernie without hesitation. One is 22 & the other is 27. I even asked them at Bernie being old and they said it’s not about age it’s about policy and Bernie has the best policy.

I tried to sell them on Pete but it didn’t work.

My point is it’s insulting to tell people their candidate can’t win even if it is true. It turns people away and we do not want to turn people away.

By the way my son (18) is all in on Yang. Mostly because of the tech stuff. But if you tell him Yang has no chance he gets mad then criticizes the other candidates. We have to be careful and not rub peoples noses in their choice when they lose. Because politics is personal.

It isn’t the tech stuff, it is his well thought out policy proposals.

And I agree with your other comments.

Yang isn’t in my top 2 but his thinking and good sense have impressed me and I’d love to have the eventual nominee have him head an IT modernization task force.
