However, when I saw a post that contained a tweet that referred to Senator Bernie Sanders as "Bolshevik Bernie" and to Senator Elizabeth Warren as "Lyin Liz" I requested that the replace the insulting words, and he took the entire post down.

To me, it seems that sometimes people parse every word that these candidates say as if they must be perfect at all times. Trump has lied or said a misleading statement over 15,000 times in office, and his mouth is a sewer of insults and bigotry. I think we need to keep things in perspective.

Not that it matters since Joe will not be the nominee... and no way Bernie would even consider a deplorable Rethug for his VP pick. It'll be Elizabeth!!

Joe Biden did NOT say he’s considering a Republican running mate. He said he’d consider a Republican, but he can’t think of any. He was diplomatically dispatching with a question that was designed to trip him up. He answered fine, but the media is now lying about what he said.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/30/politics/joe-biden-running-mate-republican/index.html

Exeter, New Hampshire (CNN)Joe Biden told voters in New Hampshire on Monday that he would consider choosing a Republican as a running mate, but added, "I can't think of one right now."

Biden discussed the possibility after a woman told the former vice president that if he is the nominee, he will "have to pull out all the stops."

"Our 21-year-old son said the other night, 'I wonder if Joe Biden would consider choosing a Republican as a running mate," the woman added.

"The answer is I would, but I can't think of one now," Biden replied. "Let me explain that. You know there's some really decent Republicans that are out there still, but here's the problem right now ... they've got to step up."

Presidents are supposed to be diplomatic. I know that this may be easy to forget because of the current occupant of the Oval Office.

Biden wouldn't do it but just the idea of him running with a Republican seems de-motivational in the extreme.

He can walk this one back too if he wants to avoid being hammered on this going into the primary.

I like Joe and want him to do well but I'd like him to eliminate the possibility of having a Republican VP. It matters during primary time when Dem voters are looking are looking for a second choice if their own candidate falls.

republican politicians more anybody. I've been telling people how evil they are since Bill Clinton. I do not believe Joe Biden would seriously entertain a republican v.p. It may matter to you in your primary choice. That doesn't mean it matters to most people. Most people aren't DU or twitter. With an open primary in NH approaching, I don't think this was a bad move. There will be other open primaries too. Joe is looking at the long game.

This isn't a normal election. Trump is already coordinating with russians, practically in plain sight. We will need a massive vote to thwart any election day shenanigans. And that includes republicans and independents.

The corporate media would love it. Trump would have a major meltdown. It’d be a big fuck-you to the left. Hippie Punching on a grand scale.

The corporate media would love it.

And the Patriotic Millionaires would love it.

Many of DU’s Biden supporters would post thread after thread demanding loyalty.

I can hear old Joe saying it now:

“Mitt Romney is a decent guy.”

“Republicans love America just as much as we do”

“We need Republicans to balance things out.”

https://www.dailywire.com/news/joe-biden-wants-a-female-vp-but-wont-use-their-names

Former Vice President and current Democratic 2020 frontrunner Joe Biden wants to pick a woman as his vice president. In an odd move, however, he refused to use their names.

During a campaign stop in Iowa on Friday, a voter asked Biden who he would pick as his vice presidential candidate. Biden said he had at least four women in mind for the position, The New York Post reported, but then failed to name any of them.
