i believe he is refusing to to move a bill passed by the house that would lower prices. He is gets a lot of money from the pharmaceutical industry.

that there is more that this nation has more than one political party and has had a great deal of divided government over the past forty years. Better yet, does Sanders realize this?

Currently, Republicans are able to choke off Democratic legislation from the House in the Senate while Trump guts regulations that that affect health care and medication.

Sanders' harangue does not have all the answers and shredding the power base of the Democratic party will only perpetuate solutions. Republicans have no interest in course corrections. You won't find Democrats anxious to let go of a path forward based on this a single speech that only addresses one portion of the problems we face.

You make something and sell it for a profit. Anything medical related (especially prescriptions, medical care and insurance) has been monetized for profit over result.

WE, however, have capitalism run amok. It is ultimately going to destroy most of us, while a few will be so rich that NOTHING will ever affect them. Or so they think. Unbreathable air and undrinkable water is going to affect ALL of us. Even them.

Think about it, we now have 607 American billionaires.

A billion is 1000 million (I know you are aware of that...). Jeff Bezos' net worth alone is 110 BILLION.

Most of the mega rich didn't earn it themselves, THEIR MONEY EARNED IT. Although there are a few of the self made rich (Bezos is an example), most of the rest have money to sit back and manipulate. Their MONEY makes money. Generally speaking, you have to HAVE money to make money. Wall Street has worked really hard on setting up that little racket.

When so few have so much, while so many have so little, all because of how we allow capitalism to control everything, I think we can all agree it has run amok.

If the individuals and corporations who benefit so much from the "system" paid their fair share in taxes (and it may be progressive, but THEY can afford it), almost all of our problems could be solved.

But that approach is painted as "socialism", and is thrown out with the bath water. Bath water that is already, or soon will be, polluted before it ever comes out of the tap.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
