New YouGov Poll

Biden (30%, +1)
Warren (19%, +2)
Sanders (17%, -2)
Buttigieg (7%, 0)
Klobuchar (5%, +1)
Bloomberg (4%, 0)
Yang (3%, 0)
Gabbard (2%, -1)
Booker (2%, 0)
Steyer (2%, +1)
other....

This is out today, following the previous poll from before last weeks debate. There doesn't appear to be much movement of significance. No notifiable bump for Klobuchar yet. Sanders does fall from 2nd to 3rd in a 4 point swing to Warren, who does from -2 to +2 against him. Poll has a 2.9 MoE, which these moves are within, but given that 2 points is on the upper range of that, this could be some real movement and not just noise, but that isn't clear.

Topline takeaway is that Biden continues to expand his lead. His 11 point lead represents the widest margin he has seen in this poll since early June and come a couple months after Warren enjoyed a 7 point lead in mid October.

For everyone who is going to respond that national polls don't matter. I find it very unlikely that a candidate who is polling like Joe Biden is now relative to the field would finish lower than 2nd in either Iowa or New Hampshire. These national polls will influence how the votes coalesce.

Warren is coming back after some adverse polls.

May her rise continue!

which is consistent with the fact that the viewer ratings were low. I'd have to dig in the details of the statistics, but I don't thing the change between Sanders and Warren is statistically significant.

This is pretty predictable actually.

Who, among those on this list, will be capable of uniting Democrats and the anti-Trump elements of the independent parties and at the same time, activating the dormant Democrats who stayed home in 2016 because of "Hillary's negatives," and will help deliver an electoral blow to the Republicans that will shut down their ignorant shenanigans and make them remember this disaster they've brought about for at least a couple of generations? Not only does this need to be a popular and electoral vote landslide, it needs to bring enough new Congressmen and Senators on board to expand the house majority and control the senate. McConnell and Graham need to be beaten, something that the recent Kentucky governor's race shows is possible with the right balance of candidate and support.

Trump has an obnoxious base but it's not big enough to win re-election unless the Democrats hand it back to him. So where, among the Democratic candidates, is the fire power to get that done?

8. Great Poll for Klobuchar

Some real measurable movement in the Cross Tabs.
While you cannot read to much in any one poll and especially with numbers she has on the top line. It is clear that she is getting her second look (or actually her first one for most).
That she is ahead of Bloomberg and closing in on Buttigieg is important to her campaign.
I know I'm biased.

But reading this poll tells me that Buttigieg in particular is in real danger as his Iowa lead is likely to disappear and that is what has him in the top tier. A fall from 1st to 3rd which is very likely will be news and while probably not statically significant will never the less be reported as a negative. If this is coupled with either a Warren or Klobuchar bump the Race will change a lot.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
