This is not a good look for the hard left of our party.

Its going to be a tough week, but the hard left is not where the heart of the party is. Bernie has never had a chance this go round. That does not mean he doesn't have hard core supporters who really like him. No one is saying that. But people on our side of the aisle are not ready for another my way or the highway election.

Elizabeth Warren should have walked with Iowa, with VP Biden taking second. That is what it looked like a few weeks ago. But her plans on how to pay for M4A just did not add up. Because as we all know, you take what ever the numbers that are handed out, and add 30 to 50% to any program proposed. The only reason Sanders has not been kneecapped on it, is because he has not put any numbers up. His attitude is screw it, this is what we are doing. Great for rallies, but once people get home and start talking among themselves it just does not work out.

Add to that the Corbyn comparisons, and those are actually harder on Sen Warren in the long run than they are on Sen Sanders. Corbyn had just was one too many plans.. great fun discussions on twitter, people in the midlands not sure what the hell he was talking about.

I am not even touching the Cenk mess. Good Lord.

This is Bidens, Buttigegs, Klobachars, and yes even Bloombergs (he has the money to buy the election) to lose.

We are 7 weeks a couple of days from caucus and three weeks and 6 days after that will be Super Tuesday, and we are going to know who our candidate is.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Bernie Sanders is not the 'hard left' of the Democratic Party. He is not a Democrat, and nor are his leadership team. AOC is DSA, not a Social Democrat. Enough said.

Elizabeth Warren's issue is not M4A, but the corruption of politics by money, something Biden, Buttigiegs and Klobachar barely mention.

Biden, Buttigieg, Klobachar, and certainly Bloomberg, would restore the much storied 'soul of America', underwritten by big, big money. If you are happy with that, I'm not. Carter was a centrist Dem but he was not shooting up greenbacks.

but he is not generating the level of support necessary to receive delegates in the primaries based upon the polls. Even though he is gaining support he is running out of time. Less than seven weeks left and plenty of holidays in between when people won't want to hear about politics. Add in the college and pro football games along with the likelihood of winter storms and the number of days for campaigning drops to about 40. I won't say it is impossible for Yang to surge, but it is unlikely.

James Polk did have a history of legislative accomplishments that bolstered his candidacy which is the important "something" that Yang lacks.

UMass CEO Eric Dickson backs Medicare for All, calls plan ‘bold, courageous’

<<<<<
And one of the major stumbling blocks of the Warren plan, its cost — some experts have said the $20.5 trillion cost is too low, calculating costs as up to $34 trillion — is something that Dickson said is essentially a wash for him and other large employers.

“We spend $140 million a year on our employees’ health insurance,” Dickson said. “If the government were to tax me $140 million a year and give all of our employees insurance, I’m neutral ... With no new costs, we could pay that to the government and then we could move to a single-payer system.”
