Differences in DU candidate group forums

When I attempt to post a comment in the Bernie Sanders group, I get this message: "You can't post in this forum because it is a read-only archive."

When I attempt to post a comment in the Biden group, I get this message: "You are in the Biden 2020 Group. Only members who have selected Joe Biden as their preferred Democratic presidential candidate are permitted to post in this Group."

I currently do not have a preferred candidate.

What gives?

1. You can post in the Primaries forum, but not in the group only forums, those are group

It is an older one from the last Primary election. It has been archived. There is a current one under Democrats 2020 that is active. However, like all of those groups, only those who have chosen that candidate as their favorite can post in them. That's to prevent endless arguments, which is what the Democratic Primaries Forum is for.

Most of the individual candidates' groups are pretty slow-moving, but once you choose a candidate, you'll be able to post in that group, if you find that worthwhile.. Until then, you can post here.
