Jill Biden: Even Republicans come up to me and whisper, "I'm for Joe. I'm going to vote for him."

Jill Biden stumped for her husband in Lancaster Friday and she toured the Rock Hill Boys and Girls Club later in the day. Her message echoed the former vice presidents Joe Biden is the candidate who can beat Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
IM FOR JOE
Jill Biden said her husband has support among independent voters and the ability to beat Trump in key swing states, which other presidential campaigns dont have.
Even Republicans come up to me, I dont care whether were in the airport or walking down the street, and they kind of whisper, Im for Joe. Im going to vote for him. And I feel like were welcoming every single person who wants to vote in this election.
Jill Biden detailed her husbands past political victories. She said he wrote and championed the Violence Against Women Act of 1994, made sure the Affordable Care Act passed and took on the NRA multiple times.
Anyone can tell you what they want to do, she said. But Joe Biden can tell you what hes done.

She said Joe Biden encouraged her to continue teaching while he was vice president.
Even when we got to the White House, I said to Joe, I cant just live your life. You know I have to keep teaching. And he said, Of course you should. He supported my career. I mean isnt that what a partnership and marriage are really all about? she said.
The crowd erupted with claps.
BEST DAYS ARE AHEAD OF US
Jill Biden said four more years of Trumps presidency will change the character of the country and relations with foreign powers.
She said her husband has the vision and experience to lead the country.
The president will be a commander in chief you can trust, a leader who brings people together instead of tearing families apart, a president that you can feel proud of, who believes that our best days are ahead of us, she said. And thats my husband Joe Biden.

Think Mick Mulvaney style Red. It's also between 20-40 miles south of my NW Clt home. Since NC is part of Super Tuesday, visits to York and Lancaster counties basically count as 2 state visits and is part of the Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord- Rock Hill metro area of over 2 million people.
It wasn't always this way, though in another political era, John Spratt, the person Mulvaney defeated, is a conservative Democrat, not unlike the Boll Weevils of a previous era (Howell Heflin, Sam Nunn, Lawton Childs, Fritz Hollings, etc.).

nice people.. I can see how they would attract repubs who don't care for the insanity in our WH.
Thanks, hpd
