Biden tweeted video of Kerry saying this, and added, "Couldn't have said it better myself!"

(16,937 posts)I STILL get SO pizzed when I think of how those "Swift Boat A$$wipes" attacked this decorated veteran - a man who did answer his country's call - only to be so abused by a group supporting a chicken-hawk that hid behind his daddy's connections - and to go on to have a Supreme Court name him as Commander-In-Chief and defeat a true military hero and American soldier.
We have GOT to bring this nightmare to an end.
The Republicans are evil - they must be stopped.
WE must GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!

(59,504 posts)as it did in 2004. It is also possible that he allowed Biden to pick the time and place - as he did Obama. Given that such a high percent in Iowa still say they could change, a strong Biden tour in Iowa is important.
In some ways, it is similar to the gift Ted Kennedy gave Kerry in 2004 - where he campaigned a lot for Kerry. Praising him and bringing up stories that in a very low key endorsed Kerry's character and many accomplishments including ones Kerry did not claim for himself. Biden is not as self effacing as Kerry, but FOR ANYONE praise given by a respected person goes further than the person himself saying it.
I am still undecided because there is no one that I am 100% for, but there are several I like. I have worried that Biden ranges from very articulate and capable to almost embarrassing. It is not age, because Kerry is, if anything, better than in 2004 - which might just reflect that he does not have to filter himself as much which - in itself - makes him more spontaneous. He is as articulate as ever, and though he looks older he does not look 12 years older.

Trump is actually pretty weak right now, so, cheating will definitely happen.
