I should note those Dubya-era deficits excluded war spending ($170 bn annually during his 2nd term).

Now, of course, deficits are back up to $1 trillion again.
If I were to vote in a presidential

when I saw this part of Lawrence's show, I kept wondering why Pete would do that? It won't win him much support from democrats!! It's a ridiculous argument to try to send during a democratic primary!!

comes from Independents/ Non Alligned . . I think Pete is trying to play to that vote with his comments .
